help my chicks are dying!!!!

I have some chicks that are about 4-5 weeks old and some that are about 3 week and there all together out side in a sepreat coop from the big chickens and the younger ones are dying I dont know if its because the big ones are squishing the smaller ones i dont know what to do i dont know if the bigest chickes can go with the big chicken please help

Where do you live and what is the night time temps there. 3 week old chicks still need heat so if it still gets chilly where you live there is a good chance they're getting too cold.

you need to separate the chicks from the big chickens or they will die if its cold put a heat lamp on them.

It's fine to put 3 week and 5 week chicks together but the 3 week chicks still likely need a heat source.

I agree with the heat assessment, but also, check their poop. If there is blood, you might also be battling coccidiosis. Sometimes when chicks go outside, they are exposed to new bacteria which can cause problems.

Ive had chicks that were only 10 days older hunt down and peck to death younger chicks. I'd separate and also add heat.
