Help! My coop is stuck

This is realy simple. Get 3 or 4 round fence post and lay them on the ground 3 to 4 feet apart. Slide the coop up on the posts and use the posts as rollers. You should be able to pull it several feet at a time with the lawn tractor simply by taking the rearmost "roller" and moving it to the front as you progress. It may take a little time, but you should be able to move your coop even if the ground is uneven in places. When it's all over with, you still have 4 fence posts that you can use for the run. No waste.

One thing, if you do use anything with rubber tires be sure it has a wide footprint. As tall as the coop is whatever you move it on has to be wider or you will lose it.

But like a few others I would use 2X8's and 3 or 4 steel pipes to track it and roll it on. It will be slow but I do believe it will be the safest way to go.

If it's muddy you will need the plywood.

The pvc idea was suggested earlier, sounds like a very good idea. I will try that as soon as I get done at the stables tomorrow. Hopefully the rain holds off, but it already drizzled again on my way to work. I feel like we are living in a rainforest here.

Not to it's final place yet, still too muddy, I can barely make it to my hutches without losing a shoe in that mess. I wish it would either freeze or dry out

This is the best way. I have used it many times with very little effort. You can use a floor jack to get it lifted up or a long 2x6 or log. If you are still unable to do it go to your local High School and catch the football team lifting weights after school. Tell them your story and offer to make them a Spaggetti dinner. They will do it, I promis you.

if you can lift one side up off the ground I have a suggestion...if you use a couple sheets of plywood lay one down under the coop, then place the next sheet beside it in the direction that you want to go. On top of the plywood place some long pieces of 1 1/2" or 2" PVC pipe. Once you get the coop on top you should be able to roll it by moving the PVC pipes and Plywood in front of it as you go....just a thought! That is how the Hot Tub company brought our hot tub up onto our deck....just 2 guys...it looked real easy

We got the man power, but are still stuck until the ground dries out. It is so muddy I can barely get too the coop without holding on to anything. Even if we had it on something or had more people to help us, we wouldn't be able to get any traction to push or pull.
