Yes it will make her injury worse. Please separate her from the flock in large dog crate with an old towel in the bottom. Preferably this would be away from the other chickens in the feed area of the coop or maybe on a shelter porch or even in the house if possible.

I have a tiny chick that I'm caring for that has a large wound that I'm not allowing out because I don't her getting any bedding or other stuff stuck in the wound either. She's a little lonely for other chickens but apparently she likes frozen 2. Shes on some microfleece to keep it cleaner.
