HELP! My Dogs love Chicken Poo!

Wait a minute....I may just fed-ex them to you for the visual--no baths of course, so you get the full effect...if the fed-ex man comes with a rather large box with holes punched in it for air, you might not want to sign for it!!! LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!

All 4 of my dogs love all animal poo. The cats, chickens, and the goats. Why I don't know but they do. And then they want to kiss you.

Well, yeah, it's funny and it's disgusting and it might even save on dog food bills....

But it's also causing my small dog to put on a lot of weight. I'm not sure he would stop gaining if I stopped feeding him altogether. My vet tells me chicken poop is calorie dense. Chocolate dog candy in more than one sense.

Right now the chickens are confined to their yard, so no fresh poop around, but I'll let them out again come spring and grass and bugs. I tried sprinkling cayenne on the big round pieces, which he seems to prefer. Believe it slowed him down for a while. I wish something like tenderizer on the dog food would actually work. Anyone else have any methods?

I'm not particularly fond of cats, don't have any of my own, but someone asked me one time why I didn't have a dog. I told them, "It's because a cat will bury what a dog will eat!" They asked me what I meant by that, My answer, "Think about it!" They had that blank stare for about a minute, then said, "Oh!"

I can add that they love guinea pig and rabbit poo as well. My dogs especially like the diarhea we are having a problem with. Very gross. One of those gross dogs is on my lap right now.

My dog eats Chicken poo too!

One time she got a piece of cat poop out of the litter box and jumped on my husbands lap to sit and eat her little snack

Of course we both freaked out, I couldn't believe she did that. Silly dogs!
