Help!!! My drakes are fighting....

I keep 3 drakes penned together year round with no hens and no problem. It really depends on the individual bird.

No females, just the two boys... I would hate to separate them, but if I have to I will... they really seem to hate each other right now, it so sad to see such good friends go at it like that.

I bought a wire cage to separate mine. I put it in the middle of the yard so they can lay next to each other. Do that for a few days and then let them back together. It helps!!

Once @thumper650 gets the tag they can explain their setup I am pretty sure their boys stay next to each other but have fencing between them. So they can still be together but no fighting.

i was in the same situation, 2 drakes and they started brawling around now.
Yes they need to be seperated, they can draw blood.
Yes they will go back to being ok together, at least mine did. In late August here in New England, your latitude may differ.
Mine are seperated into runners and pekins. Now that the pekins have a common enemy they leave each other alone.
I will post a link to my setup when I get to a real computer.
Basically a smalll fence dividing your run will keep them safe.

It will be easy to separate the pen, but their house, I will have to get creative! Maybe a swinging board...?

That house is adorable. I have 2 houses connected, with a removable divider made of hardware cloth, but the sharp edges are contained.
