I have 5 runners 5/6 weeks old. The smallest one Lily started limping. I noticed one of the other ducks was chewing on her leg. So I separated her from the other ducks right away. Ive tried the Epsom salt wraps on her leg and make she she stays off it and swims in warm water. Its been 3 days now and when I first noticed this she was using the leg a bit but as of today she wont use it at all. Any other suggestions?

Are you also supplementing with brewers yeast or niacin? some ducklings need extra niacin and lameness is what we usually see when they are deficient . you can use nutritional yeast or brewers yeast sprinkled on their feed daily or buy niacin tab or capsules[plain only] not time released or flush free and add to their water daily. this has to be mixed really well in the water for them to get full impact of the niacin, at 5/6 weeks they need 250 mg to 1 gal of water. It won't hurt the other ducklings to drink it either. Please let us know how she is doing.

Im doing all of that cause my other duck Meesha was having seizures. Shes not now but I didnt know it 250mg I was still doing 150 mg. So thank you
