Help! My duck is sick

Did the vet give her fluids? I ask because poop like that usually means dehydration and or infection.
She didn’t no she gave me the antibiotics but I’m not entirely sure I’m giving them to her correct as the tube is short and I don’t know if it’s going into her airways

@casportpony can give you a video on tube feeding and she has instruction on giving meds. I am having computer trouble and can’t copy an paste on my phone or I’d look it up for you. As for meds have someone hold her if you can and your facing her pry open her bill and look into the back or her throat you’ll see the big hole right in the middle that’s her airway you want to avoid that and go to the left of it down into that hole that’s where the meds go. It’s her right side but facing her it’s your left side. Once you’ve done it some you will be able to do it by yourself I wrap mine in a towel hold them between my knees while I am sitting pry open the bill use my fingers to keep the bill open enough to make sure I am in the right place then push down the syringe.

So sad but Badgie has passed on she didn’t seem too bothered about water so I’d gone out and bought a feeding syringe I came back an hour later and she’s slumped dead and stiff it must have been a very aggressive infection as she was alive and well 2 days ago. I’m off to get a replacement and hopefully the little one won’t notice
