Help my duck wont eat!!!!!!

I will try the baby bird food maybe and no vet will do anything around my area i have called them all the only person i can get help from is the rescue that takes ducks in but cant take her right now but she helped me get meds and checked her out the vets say put her down cause they dont know anything about ducks! So im on my own here really trying the best i can but she needs a friend so im looking to find another duck that someone is willing to let me get to put with her, ive never had ducks before these two where dumped on my pond and we feed them thats all i know about them other than the few things the rescue lady has informed me of! I really appreciate everyones help and info she ate a little today but not much so im gonna get some eggs and baby bird food from the store and see how it goes! Thank u

Yes she is alone now im not sure what to do about that!

You can try putting an unbreakable mirror where she can see it. Pet stores sell them in the bird section. There was a post on here awhile back with a distressed lonely duck who wouldn't eat, and somebody suggested the mirror trick. The duck settled down once she saw another duck with her. It would be much safer for now than introducing a new duck to her, with her injuries.

Also, where is she now? Do you have her contained inside? I'm guessing she is somewhat wild since she was living on your pond?

okay got the mirror and trying vegetables but nothing so far so i force feed her peas

She is in a small building that is insulated almost like a really small home it has a small amount of heat and i started leaving the lights on for her just put the mirror in and she is loose in there with food and water and straw that she lays on! We took her to the pond today and let her walk around a bit but wont leave her because that is where the attack happened and i noticed she was looking for her friend then went in her old shed we built them and just layed down she couldnt swim cause the pond was frozen over so we let her come in and swim in the tub in the house! She lived at the pond but we went down to feed them cracked corn every night and would pet them so she is pretty familiar with us!
