MY hands get very dry and I use the Gold Bond during the day - everyone at work can't keep their hands off of it because it WORKS.

Bag balm is mainly petrolium jelly (regular Vaseline)

I found that the "jelly cream" formula soaks in your skin a lot better, no gloves/socks required.
I can't sleep in socks for one thing, and dog hair sticks to the petrolium jelly if it doesn't soak in my skin!!

But you know, whatever works!!

Really right now I'll try anything because I'm tired of the cracked skin on my fingers.. Also I help my hubby at the mechanic shop so turning wrenchs kinda sucks right now with my hands hurting so much.

If you have thick skin that is cracking, after sleeping with the bag balm on, use a pumice stone LIGHTLY to grind it down, a little at a time, day after day. Eventually you will have your hands back. Dry skin sucks.

Exactly why I have no heat or defrost in my truck.
My thermostat went out, and I bought a new one. I thought to myself, I'll wait a week and it'll be 70 degrees again (it was at Christmas ya know!) so I can loosten bolts without killing my hands. Guess what? That was right after C-mas and it's got nothing but colder since!!!!!!

OMG I freeze delivering pizza, but I absolutely refuse to do unnecessary mechanic work in this kind of weather. I'm still getting from point A to point B so I'm just wearing a lot of clothes! lol

Hahaha I tried not to do machanic work but my sis in law bent a valve in her truck so now we (my hubby and me) have to pull the head on the truck. Not my idea but you know how that goes.
