I’m soooo sorry!!! This is just too weird. It seems they have to be somewhere since there’s no sign of feathers. Still hoping for tgeir safe return.

put some water out there also, just in case to bad you can't make a lid with a hole in it so a racoon can't get in just in case they do come back, mabe if you get more they will come back. where is the adult hen?

We don't really have problems with raccoons around our neighborhood. My neighbor swears up and down we have a coyote but I've never seen him so idk.

if your near woods, you more then likely do, they are very sneaky and quiet except when they have something corned and you an hear them howl. I am still hopeful your babies will come home

If you know how to make the tidbitting noise or if you call them in a certain way don't give up doing that.

My guess is if your dog frightened them they scattered and are trying to find each other. They likely won't know the way home. Do any of your neighbors keep chickens? They may be drawn to their coops.

I'm so sorry this has happened. You need to reinforce your run and work with your dog for sure. What kind of dog do you have?

Has your dog ever chased or caught/killed any other kind of animal? If so did your dog eat the animal or parts of it? If so it makes it more likely your dog could have killed them.

At 7 weeks I wouldn't think they would be roosting out of their safe zone. Scared chickens will often get themselves into tight places places they may not be able to get themselves out of. Definitely use your voice and ears. Listen for anything a rustle of leaves a chirp. Anything. They may be in the neighborhood but they may also be in the woods or closer to home. I'm sorry I wish I had a magical answer for you to get you babies back.

Do you have a crawl space under your house,a porch or deck they could have gotten under, a wood pile or trash cans they could be back behind?
Definitely call your local animal shelter or even animal control. Where I live animal control is run by the sheriffs office. They really care about the animals.
You won't get in trouble for calling.
You don't even have to give your name.

have you called your local animal control, or chicken rescue, or any of the pet shelters in your area. also if your on facebook post in your local city group, provide pics if you have them, you never know. I am hopeing for the best still for you and your babies.
