One of my chickens has been moulting so I wasn't really worried.. I returned today and she isn't moving and is shivering. I brought her inside and tried to feed her and it's like she's not able to control where her head is going. She will eye off the food and then when she goes to peck at it she pecks into the air. When I gave her some food in a bowl she pretty much burrows her head into the dish hoping that she aims and get somewhere near the food.
When standing it's like she can't hold her head up and is slowly just moving her head up and down. Does anyone know what could be wrong with her?

Sounds like maybe some kind of neurological thing.
Are you sure she can see?
How old is this bird and how long have you had her?
What and how exactly do you feed?

I was thinking the same thing! I'm pretty sure she can see.
She's about 3 years old, feeding her just chicken seed. She has finally done a poo this morning which is like a pastel yellow colour.

What is this "chicken seed".
Link to brand of feed, please?

I have no idea, we just order off a produce guy which gets delivered in a hessian bag :( I can take a photo of the seed but that's about it.

shes getting worse :( she has started pooing (have attached an image of her poo for color) however as i have been feeding her and giving her water. she is still quite disorientated and is walking into walls when she does decide to get up and pecking into mid air.

is there a way of trying to figure out if she can still see? I'm pretty concerned

Hmmm...are you located somewhere other than the US, where livestock feed has to be labeled with ingredients and nutritional levels??

Not sure what your attachment was in your last post, but it just took me to a Microsoft Outlook website.
