Help! My hen can't hold up her head.

Thank you, she will be missed. I didn't think when we got chickens I'd get attached to them but I did. They are my babies.
Hey, it's not hard to get attached to your chickens. Been there, done that! Especially my sweet baby. Even though my chicks could care less about me :smackunless I'm bearing grasshoppers...:wee:pop they're my little 'feather babies'. :plbb

I relate to being surprised at how much you come to love them! Initially we got three pullets that were newly laying last year as part of a large, year long project my son whose a sophomore had signed up for in Animal Biology class. I came to love them so much we got four more chicks in May! They really are our babies so I understand being deeply sad when we lose one or have one suffering :hugs
