Help My hen can't see.

I don't know what to do. My RIR hen seem like she can't see. She has lost a lot of weight. and I have been keeping her penned up to see if I can fatten her up. well today I went out to see if I can hand feed her something. and she tried to peck at it but seem like she can't reach it. she pecks about an inch from my hand. so this might be why she is lossing weight. It says in the book that she needs vitaman A. what can I give her?

Hold a flashlight away then point it in her eye, does her pupils respond to the light? Both of my roos had one eye sight loss and both of them had no depth perception, so they would peck in the air or off to one side. How old is she?

okay I'll try that in the morning. she should be about 10 months old. She has never laid any eggs. plus she had lost weight like crazy. she to the point where she trips over her wings.

Freezer camp is an option if she is going downhill so fast. I personaly don't do the Vet thing for my chickens.

sorry I have never killed my chickens. all 200 are my pets.

I would keep her inside possibly, or at least isolated from the others, and try to stuff alot of food into her until you know what it is. But that's me, 20+ pet chickens
