HELP! My hen has suddenly become mean.

It's uncommon for a submissive cockerel to crow, as that job is reserved for the dominant male in the flock (sometimes the dominant female if there is no rooster in the flock). The dominant birds eat first, lounge in the best locations, and are afforded a very respectful, wide-berth from others in the flock, particularly the same-gendered members of the flock.

Two cockerels!
They are 'pullets' and 'cockerels' until one year of age, and then 'hens' and either 'roosters' or 'cock birds'.
Your cockerel is acting badly towards you, and needs to learn to respect your space.
Consider either rehoming both boys, or at least the more aggressive individual, and see how things go on from there.
Mary
