Help! My hen is following me!

For reference, I have no roosters and my flock is a little mix of breeds. One of my hens has started following me and I'm unsure of why but I know a few things it can't be. Its not because I have new food or fresh water, Its not because I have treats, shes not getting excessively pecked or anything either. Im struck.. She almost seeks me out! Is she just showing affection? Should I be worried?

Aww, you’ve got a shadow Mine do that because 1) They think I’m hiding treats somewhere, and 2) They want to follow me in to the house and don’t understand why I keep shutting the door on them.

She might also be "in the mood" if she's actively laying or near laying.

Mine follow me anywhere I'll let them, including in the house if I'm not paying attention when I close the door.

Sometimes chickens want to be near you if the' re not feeling wel, because of old age or for protection from predators. Or they just realy like you...

My chickens follow me because they think I'm hiding treats somewhere. They come running when they hear the back door open, then stand at the corner of the fence, staring at me.
