Help! My hen won't walk, eat, drink....

Hi everyone, my problem is my rhode lsland red went all broody on me, she's 8 months old now and was laying an egg each day...but 2 weeks ago she wouldnt leave the nesting box either to eat or drink. my friend gave me 5 fertilzed eggs for her to sit on, they are due to hatch in 21 days...she doesnt leave the box at all, should l try and feed her and give her water in the nesting box....she seems to be in a trance most of the time, lm at my wits end.only new to keeping hens since july.

Are you sure she isn't coming out at least once a day to eat and poop? That has always been my experience and it is usually a very quick trip. Eat a few bites, poop, eat a few more bites and back to the nest; about 5 minutes total.
