Your temps shouldnt go that high, that can ruin a hatch fast.
Do you have it inside or outside?
You need to be in a room where the temp always stays the same, if you're not already. Try to stay out of cold basements too, theyve been rough on my hatches before.
Is it a digital incubator?
Yes sounds like the thermostat is bad. You're in a better temp range but thats still not going to work.Im inside and the incubator is brand new. I have it turned way down to 93 and it still jumps to 102.5 and down to 96. Is that still bad.
It doesnt matter what you do right now there is a good chance the hatch is already ruined if its been incubating for a while. If i disconnect the thermostat how does it keep temp. No i have the one with the 2 windows
I have a hovabator with 2 windows i think the number is 1602N cant remember though. It worked decently out of box. I never adjusted the temp and it read at 99.0 - 100.2 the whole time only dropping when i opened it. I have the turner too. I had my own thermometers inside and it was 1 degree colder on one side but it was between 99 and 100 the whole time.If i disconnect the thermostat how does it keep temp. No i have the one with the 2 windows
