Your temps shouldnt go that high, that can ruin a hatch fast.

Do you have it inside or outside?

You need to be in a room where the temp always stays the same, if you're not already. Try to stay out of cold basements too, theyve been rough on my hatches before.

Is it a digital incubator?

Im inside and the incubator is brand new. I have it turned way down to 93 and it still jumps to 102.5 and down to 96. Is that still bad.

Yes sounds like the thermostat is bad. You're in a better temp range but thats still not going to work.

Is this your incubator?

If so I have the exact model and mine has never been that off, mine has jumped 1 or 2 degrees at most and that was when it was in the basement.

I would return it immediately and get your money back, your hatch is going to be a waste of time at the current rate.

If returning it is not an option I would disconnect the digital thermostat/humidity reader and wire this thermostat to the incubator instead.

Or I would get a replacement incubator instead Ive never had a problem with my 1588, so it sounds like you just got a bad one.

You can also just buy a plain jane cheap hovabator, and wire in a computer fan, and a digital thermostat for cheap. Here's links for everything that makes a great cheap incubator:

Fan (or get an old computer fan from your computer)

It doesnt matter what you do right now there is a good chance the hatch is already ruined if its been incubating for a while.

How long has it been running with the eggs inside?

You can either try to keep this hatch going or call it a lose. I'd unplug the incubator and plug it back in and see if that helps any. Does the temperature stay the same in the room its in?

I have a hovabator with 2 windows i think the number is 1602N cant remember though. It worked decently out of box. I never adjusted the temp and it read at 99.0 - 100.2 the whole time only dropping when i opened it. I have the turner too. I had my own thermometers inside and it was 1 degree colder on one side but it was between 99 and 100 the whole time.

Sounds like you have a faulty one id return it. If you got it at a store maybe get an exchange and pop your eggs into the new one when you get back home. Too hots worse than too cold.
