I'm agreeing witg your de statement. Sevin it is for the rest of the flock. Unfortunately Henriegga didn't make it. It was very shocking as I have treated worse cases in the beginning (my first mite infestation) and she was still eating and drinking water. I feel terrible. She was most friendly and patient girl She will be missed here greatly.

Sorry to hear she passed. But, now would be a good time to worm the rest of the girls with Safeguard and dust them. In 10 days you need to worm and dust again. In 6 months doing it again might save you a lot of heartbreak.

Sorry for your loss. Mites can be almost impossible to get rid of especially with wooden coops. Thank you. Everyone is being de-wormed and sprayed and dusted like WWIII here. I can see the mites on some of the girls, but there's not nearly as many as the one I lost this morning which gives me high hopes that I can get rid of them before we lose another. I will definitely be checking out that thread. Thanks again.
