Although I don't recall ever crying over any individual chicken, I do tear up every time folks express their pain and sorrow for losin' their own ... just as I did this time, for your own suffering. I try 'n cling to my shield of logic, and the knowledge that God designed them to be individually fragile, and temporary, so that the flocks can be remarkably resilient, and more responsive to the constant changes to their environments ... by His very design, He chose which should survive.
