Help !! My one year old hen, Ina, is sick...

She's lethargic, has bright yellow diarrhea and her comb has flopped over. I gave her a round of antibiotics but no change today. I had another older hen who had similar symptoms and died within three days.

Any idea what this could be and any ways to treat it? Or is she doomed?

I'm sorry that your hen is not well.

When is the last time she laid an egg?
Have you dewormed recently?

What antibiotic, dose and for how long?

Photos of the hen, her poop, etc. may be helpful.

There's so many thing that can go wrong with chickens. Do what you can to keep her hydrated, see if she'll eat for you. Look her over really well for lice/mites and check to make sure her crop is emptying overnight.
