Help my peeking duck has one eye closed with crust

Can anyone tell me what is wrong with my peeking ducks eye and how to treat it?

Could someone pecked him in it or he poked it somehow. I make a saline solution 1/8 tea.of salt to 1 cup of warm water and rinse the eye real good take a soft cloth and work gently on getting the crust off so you can see inside and make sure the eyeball hasn't been injured. Finish by rinsing out the inside with this solution if everything inside looks okay keep an eye on it the rest of today to see if it crusts over again you may need to get some Terramycin eye ointment feed stores carry it.

Any other symptoms you've noticed?
