She was fine yesterday. She is standing but her head is drooping and limp, but she is not turned and looking up (like the descriptions of wry neck). She is not labored breathing. Just standing with her neck limp and eyes closed. If you touch her she moves but not much. No noticeable discharge.

Hello and welcome to BYC! :welcome
She may have wry neck. Give her vitamin E 400IU daily and eggs for selenium. Also 1/4 a tablet of b complex.
Can it be wry neck if she is just drooling like a ostrich trying to bury it’s head? She will drink if we put her beak near water but she isn’t opening her eyes like she was an hour ago. She is breathing regularly.

I would treat for wry neck, it comes in many forms.
Could you get a picture?

We removed her and have her isolated. She was standing and if you touch her, she stands back up, but she is sleeping peacefully. But we just led her to her dish, though we had to hold her neck for her as support. When I tried to lead her again, she resisted and pushed back. So it felt like there was strength in the neck then but her head was still down.

Poor girl. Treat her for wry neck as soon as possible.

I didn’t get a pic when she was in the yard but just picture it like and ostrich. Head was straight onto the ground, not turned. Like she was trying to bury her head in the earth

I don’t know where we could get that kind of treatment until tomorrow, we live in a rural area and everything is closed. Though I could make scrambled eggs?
