I need some advise. My pullet isn't any better, actually worse, she now has her head completely on her spine, looking at her tail, her neck/chest is way up in the air, she falls over on her back all the time and cannot get up. from falling and trying to get up she has scratched up the inside of one of her wings so bad that there are holes in her skin from her nails digging in and getting stuck in there and tearing it up. I have wrapped her up and made her a body like traction box that I put her in. Now her one leg isn't working properly or maybe its her little food, not sure. She seems smaller now than over a month ago when this started. She still eats and drinks on her own. I have been giving her prednisone, liquid vitamins, vitamin E and selenium as recommended, I keep starting the regime over and over. I even started giving her crushed vitamin B complex, since crook or wry neck is a vitamin def. I am really wondering if she may have mareks disease. I am having a really hard time deciding to put her down. She loves me, calls for me and purrs at me when I talk to her. She doesn't seem to be in pain, and I have treated her wounds on her wings. Help, should I just cull her....... and if I should, what is the best way so she doesn't feel any pain. This may sound silly, but I really do love her, but I don't want her to suffer. I started this thread about a month ago and she is no better, worse. help.....
