HELP MY ROSTER

Leg mites happen. Check your other chickens. You may want to treat your coop with permethrin 10% spray, and replace bedding. In my experience, some get them while others do not.

He's the only one that has this plus he is very clumsy. I keep a very close eye on all my chickens and he just got this two days ago. And I just changed their bedding two weeks ago so I'm just curious where he might of gotten this.

Leg mites are not serious, they happen, and are fairly easy to get rid of. Soil, bedding, other wild birds near your coop, and runs, etc. are typical ways they get introduced. It's not something you are doing wrong. I have a container that I fill with vegetable oil, and stand each of them in it for a minute. It's deep enough the oil covers the entire leg, up to where the feathers start. Do this for a few days, and it will kill them. In the meantime, you can put some Sevin dust, oil, permethrin spray, on their roosts. That should solve the problem. Be sure to check the bottom of their feet occasionally to make sure they haven't gotten a splinter, or cut when scratching for food.
