Help! my silkie chicks had ingested wood shavings!

Help! My 2 showgirl silkie babies (3 weeks old) had ingested wood shavings! They can't poop and as a result they've gotten severe constipation and REALLY bad pasty butt.... I've tried olive oil, Epsom salt soaks and even a gentle warm water and soap enema.... I'm heartbroken trying to help them and unable to

Give them some grit.

I'd give them some probiotic water or sugar-free yogurt too.

They should get over this okay. Just keep their butts clear.

We use horse bedding pellets, and underneath their nipple bottle waterer the drips cause the pellets to turn to sawdust. They start taking dustbaths in that and surely they're eating some of it but they're always just fine. I have a dish of garden dirt in the brooder so they get some grit in case they do.
