Help!! my silky left her egg

My silky was off her egg for almost 3 hours today, she’s back on it now, but the egg was kind of cool, it’s about 55 out. it’s due to hatch Thursday, do you think it will be OK

Yes and yes. She started out with three eggs but two of them didn’t make it so she’s down to one

They will leave the nest. They poop, eat and Drink. If the egg is still viable it will hatch.

Thanks for the response. I knew they got off the nest to eat and drink and everything, but I’ve never heard of one staying off the nest for so long. Had me worried

I’m glad. She started with three eggs, at 10 days I candled them and two weren’t fertile. She’s been real protective of this egg so I was worried when she left it for so long
