I went out to eat and was gone longer than I expected. When I came back my sister said she saw one pipping and broke it to "help" it out. I admit I should have talked to my family on what not to do. This is my first time hatching and I know they are supposed to zip before they come out, but she broke a hole in it. Will it dry out or die?? IDK?? What happens?
Here's a pic.

What do I do???

Keep a VERY close eye on it. I'm no expert, I'm just regurgitating what I've read on other threads so I hope others chime in here, but there's a chance it could dry out and become shrink-wrapped. Oftentimes when the chicks just start to pip, they could still have a tiny bit of yolk left to absorb so this is a very critical time for them. Keep the humidity up and give your sister a VERY stern talking to! (Seriously, I'd be screaming bloody murder if my sis did that. Oi.)

I just went to watch 45 minutes of TV and when I came back he was out of the egg completely! The whole inside of the shell is like red though...is that blood? Is it bad?
You can kinda see it here.

Hes now moving around exploring and seems healthy

Leave him in the incubator for a while until your others hatch is best. If you don't have any hatching, take it out after its fluffed up and it should be good :)

Two of the chicks are completely hatched but the other ones haven't even pipped yet...Does this mean they aren't gonna hatch? I figured by now they would pip if they were going to? :/
