I have a total of 20 chicken all ranging between 2.5years-1year and three that are only 13 weeks old. We had a pretty bad mite break out about two months ago and had everything under control from what I can tell. Only one chicken really took it bad and is now a perm member of living inside half of the day. (lets just say she is the most sassy and really enjoys the queen life she has now lol) just this last week I noticed on two of the chickens a black coloring on their comb. I thought it was sun burn because we live in south florida and its very hot out already... But today, I noticed almost all the hens have this black stuff on their combs. See images. What is it and how do I get rid of it. Everyone seems to be acting fine thank God but not sure what is going on. The coop is always clean and the chickens have the ability to free range in the yard. Please help...I love these stinkers

It's a virus and has to run its course. If necessary ointment on the eyes if they start being covered. Adding vitamins and making sure the birds are eating will help.
Ok, thank you. Do you recommend a specific ointment you like? What brand of vitamins do you like? thank you again
