OK, she is 7 months old...this eye thing is really bothering me. A chickens eyes can darken in color as they mature. However, if they are graying, cloudy, irregular shaped pupils, these can be a symptoms of the eye form of Marek's. Additional symptoms are emaciation, diarrhea and blindness. This is a fatal disease.

The only way to know for sure, is to do a necropsy after she dies.

So...that is the worst case scenario.

You stated euthanizing her is not an option. That's OK, I know how you feel.

If it is not Marek's you can treat her symptoms which match several things: loose stools, possible anemia, low appetite. I can tell she is not eating much by the lack of bulk in her poop.

1. Make sure you check her crop to see if it is hard like a golf ball. If hard, give some cooking oil and massage the crop to get things loose and moving. If it is soft, open her beak and check for a nasty smell. No water for 12 hours, then give water with probiotics, also no food for 24 hours. Crop should empty. Crop impaction or sour crop can cause watery poop, and lethargy, no appetite. Hen will be sleepy and sickly for a few days, give supportive care till she is recovered. If you are unable to clear her crop let us know here on BYC.

2. Next would be Coccidiosis, you should have a fecal float test done to be sure this is her problem. She will need Amprolium, Corid in water for a week, and no vitamin supplements till after treatment is completed.

3. Worms would present with foamy diarrhea, lose stools, pale comb, depression. Again, a fecal float test would tell you for sure, if it is Coccidiosis, or if it is worms, or both!

Any Vet can run a fecal float test for you. They are usually very affordable. I pay $10 at an actual lab here in town, $20 at the Vet.

You should also give good supportive care: Feed her cooked grains, frozen or canned corn, diced fruits, scrambled egg, meat, cooked or fresh vegies, toast with butter. Or anything you think she will eat, she needs calories. Always offer feed wet or dry. Fresh water or add some apple juice to give a sugar boost.
You can give her some Nutri Drench vitamin supplement too, oral or in water (not if you are treating for Coccidiosis).

So there are my thoughts...it's a lot to take in.
Only you can determine what is best for your little girl, cause you are there.

Hope this helps you in some way.

God Bless you and your flock! :)

Poor baby. She looks quite sick. I’m not sure about the eye thing. Does it look like there is blood inside it?
Please examine her. Feel her crop and see if it empties overnight. Please tell us what you feed her normally. Does she have access to grit? Is she laying yet? Do you have a vet who could perform a fecal float? (poop test for worms). Can you check her over for lice and mites?

Wow all of you helping out means so much, I thank you all. Unfortunately, she passed away just the other day, although she went peacefully and she had the love of all her family and she was in the warmth of our house. God bless you all, your advice really did help but in the long run, we did everything that was possible to save her. This support from you all means so much, thank you for caring. <3 your all amazing :)
