The coops sustained quite a bit of damage from the thunderstorm last night. Shingles and roofing paper were blown off as well as some of the sheets of wood that made up the roof. Winds were somewhere around 60-70 mph at least. Our tarps that we had strung over the enclosed runs (for sun shelter) are ripped to shreads and we are still under a thunderstorm warning and heat advisory until 7 pm tonight. Any suggestions on how to fix this til tomorrow when I can go buy some things to properly fix the problem?
Also what is the best way now to dry the pressed wood floor boards. I need to remove the wet straw and have dry straw to put in its place, but will a fan be enough to dry the floor (if I can get the roof temporarily covered). The humidity is right around 92% right now so it will be a chore. Any suggestions would be great.
