How high does this have to be mounted above the ground. Can it be adjusted to work at 5-6 feet high?Hello and welcome to BYC!
I use the Vikeri 4K 32MP Trail Camera, you can get it on Amazon for about $60. It does fabulous day and night. I love it!

It depends on what you want to catch on your cam. If you want ground creatures, you definitely want to attach it low, for security (cars, humans, etc...) you can go higher. Mine is attached at about 4ft on a tree, I cut all branches and shrubs out of the way as to not set it off unless it's moving. It picks up pretty much everything creeping a foot or more off the ground. But I would attach it at 2 or 3 ft if you want to catch small things like rats, squirrels, coons, skunks. It senses high too, so you would still get higher stuff like birds or critters in trees. I use mine more for security than a Critter cam at the coop. How high does this have to be mounted above the ground. Can it be adjusted to work at 5-6 feet high?
I need mine then 3-4 foot off the ground. Thanks for the reply. It depends on what you want to catch on your cam. You also want to give it a SLIGHT tilt downward, it has better coverage that way. These cams are fun to use!I need mine then 3-4 foot off the ground. Thanks for the reply.
