HELP! Need to ID these (PICS)

Hubby wants to cull all of the roosters!!

We have 2 hens for sure, we had to move them to a separate area because they weren't able to get down off their perch without getting chased and herded back to their corners.

Here are pics of the ones hubby insists are all roos.



Blackie (rooster for sure - he crows)

Chubs (rooster for sure too - crows day and night)

Clucky (???)

Crook (has 2 crooked toes) - we thought might be a roo but gets picked on and the feathers are worn from the roos trying to have their way. Moved him/her to a separate area next to the others.

I think these are all my girls - they sound like they are purring when I talk to them

Pip (was getting picked on, lost all the tail feathers and some of the comb - is now in a separate area)

Ruby (or Rudy?? - was my favorite but seems to be the one picking on the others and doesn't crow)

Sparrow (we thought was a roo but doesn't crow)

Unfortunately, it means to kill them.

Mind you...we have 12 in the flock - and we are guessing 9 are roos.

Don't get me wrong..I'm not at all for it. We raised them from chicks, some nursed and fed by hand.

I am at least hoping to re-home them but even then HATE to let them go. If they'd get along I wouldn't have to get rid of any of them but hubby is being stubborn like a rooster - I've put it off this long..I could still prevail.

Oh God, please do. I should not have read this post, I am completely for animal rights and this stuff truely upsets me. I can help to find homes out here. I don't agree with shipping birds but I would rather do that than have them killed.

Culling does not always mean killing. It simply refers to removing them (whether it be by killing, selling, giving away, etc.).

All the birds in the pics are males, with the exception of two in the "girls" pic.

You do not want to keep any roos?
