Help needed! 2 Chickens with feather issues--what can I do?

I would treat them for lice/mites. It's been going on too long to be a molt and something is really irritating them. If there is a build up of mites in their coop, you might not see them on the birds during the day - they come out at night for a blood meal.

I'm sure it isn't lice or mites. I have about 20 chickens and these two are the only ones with feather issues. I use DE all over my coop and have never seen anything on any of the chickens.

The Frizzle I know is from the other chickens eating her feathers as I have seen them do it. Not sure about what is going on with my Cucko Maran.

If nothing else, I would find a way to separate them (both, and from each other, too, until you determine what is going on with the CM) from the rest of the flock. I don't see how she (your frizzle) will regrow anything if they are all actively picking her clean. Poor girls!
