@U_Stormcrow It’s a genuine question regarding a serious issue, the way we are feeding livestock is damaging the soil and causing obesity, autoimmune disease, and leaky gut syndrome in humans. Chlorella is a superior nutrient dense alternative with various nutraceutical properties that can help to alleviate some of the damage that has been done.

@saysfaa weird I just got this message from you in my email but it’s not appeared here :/..

‘You don't think the rate humans started eating white sugar, white oils, white flour, and white salt causes those things?

Or sedentary lifestyles?
Or lack of good sleep?
Or lack of fresh air and sunshine?
Or the formaldehyde and parabens in everything from laundry soap and shampoo to clothes and nearly all commercially canned or packaged foods?’

I’m sure none of these things help but if you stop eating lectins you loose weight fast and all autoimmune diseases go away, you recover for as long as you avoid them.

Round up herbicide and none steroidal anti inflammatory drugs are also contributing factors but it’s the lectins causing the autoimmune response and obesity, the other two just damage the microbiome to such an extent that you loose the ability to stop lectins penetrating the gut wall.

Lectins we feed to livestock make it into the milk eggs meat ect. It’s probably not doing the animals much good eating high lectin feed laced with herbicide either, it’s not a good combination.

Eta.. white things aren’t so bad, most of the lectins are on the outside of things to put bugs off eating them and being paralysed. White bread/pasta if you can tolerate it is better than whole grain, pressure cooked white jasmine rice is less damaging than brown.

It's pointless to discuss with those who doesn't listen and wants to impose their beliefs. It's not worth anyone's time.
In Italy we say "the reason belongs to the fools, let them have it".
If you're worried about nutrition, always talk with a professional nutritionist. Never believe random guys on the internet, especially if they talk about miracle substances and satan substances, like if food was a religion.

Perhaps food should be added to religion and politics in the list of things we shouldn’t discuss and this whole section on the forum should be deleted?

I went to a professional nutritionalist and she gave me all the information above, since then I no longer suffer with multiple autoimmune diseases and I started looking into making sure the same thing that happened to me doesn’t happen to my birds.

I didn’t come here for confrontation, best wishes to you and your birds whatever you choose to feed them.
