My Indian runners were hatchery ducklings I ordered back April of 2022 so they're almost a year old now I have 1 black drak...2 black hens 1 fawn and white hen and one Grey or blue hen...they stopped laying back in October not a single egg for months until yesterday I walk out and find 2 eggs one in their pool and one in a nest in their heated hut...can anyone tell me why they started laying again weather this week has been between 40 and 60 I was thinking that had a little something to do with it but not 100 percent sure...also I will add pics of my flock shortly....their lot btw is a 20ft by 20 ft lot with a 4ft by 12ft hut outside it with a tunnel access point....the fencing around it is a 6ft tall chicken wire with wooden posts and too and bottom frame..,I keep straw in their hut about 2ft deep at all times and their lot keeps a constant 6 to 10 inches of straw in it all over bc they love digging thru the straw to eat worms and bugs that thrive in the damp darkness of it

Many birds will stop laying over the winter, especially if you're in an area with short days and a lot of cold. I agree with Sourland. Expect more eggs from now on!

My birds stopped in October as well as some of my younger never started but now the past few weeks I’m getting 11 eggs a day from 11 girls
Completely normal I give it a few weeks and I bet all your girls will be back laying
