Help needed.. eggs development/ egg problem

Hi all,

My pullet started laying a couple of weeks ago. We planned to hatch some of her eggs so waited for a couple of eggs before separating the cockerel.

A few days ago I cracked an egg, as the cockerel had been separated for a week.
When I cracked the egg this is how the egg was formed...

Can anyone explain this? I first thought it could of been development of a chick starting but I am not sure because the egg was freshly laid that day.

Is that the only egg from here that looked like that inside?
Looks like some major tissue shedding.
Could be a fluke or a more serious issue.
Keep checking her eggs.
Is she acting OK?
