Help needed with two baby chicks

I have two Iowa Blue baby chicks, they both had pasty butt. I had some help yesterday night removing the poop(they mostly did the work cause I was afraid I would hurt the chick). I looked at one of the chicks and it’s butt hole is sticking out pretty far. I have no idea what to do. Tell me if I should post picks, pls help.

When my chicks get pasty but I slowly and gently take it off then I rub bit of veg oil around their vent always worked never got again sounds like u have problem with vent tho can u post a pic and we take a look xx

Thanks to both of y’all I will be posting pictures shortly. When we removed the pasty butt poop we got a warm damp paper towel and removed it. But next time I might do some veg oil like u did. Thx agin
