My emu is a little less then a year old yesterday she was wabbaly on her feet and today she cant hardly stand. She flops over backwards but sets up right. She has been eating I got her some rooster booster to put in feed and she has eaten some of that. Can I give her other shots or meds like la200 or vitamin b12. All my meds I have r for sheep goats cows and some chickens. No vets that r local have experience with emu and the only 1 in the state require me to bring her and I'm hours away they will not give me any help. She was in with small baby goats but is in her own stall now. What kind of warmer should I give her. I have pour on ivamec, valbason, prohibit, and cydecton. I also have power punch goat and sheep drench. Sorry about spelling. Any advice would be great.

Have you checked her legs over for signs of injuries?

She needs to be on a diet of either a ratite feed, which you can order through Mazuri or your local Tractor Supply can likely order it in for you, or you can make her a feed mixture of 50% chicken layer pellets and 50% rabbit feed. If you're in New England you can also find Poulin Grain ratite feed, which is what I use.
