HELP!!!!! NEEDING ADVICE AND HELP ON DUCK EGG INCUBATING 25-30??

Pics
I figured this would have been the moment I would leave the house that he would come out and AN oh my gosh I can’t say how excited I am

I still don't think there is much in this world (planet/universe!) cuter than a newly hatched duckling!! :love

How many more to go?

Ok, so what should the temps be now that he is out, and should the humidity be reduced also? And yea... what do we do? Just leave him be for a while, I know he’s probably tired!!
He is a pekin right??!!?

Good work, people love helping people! SOO happy! Leave him in the incubator until he is dry and fluffy. You will know when he is dry. You can also open the air vents, the little red plugs on the lid should pop out easy. Now all you have to worry about now is setting up a brooder, and weighting for him to get fluffy.

So apparently I have a goose???

Wow... how off I was and my friend. I guess a goose visited her pond laid and egg and left??? And maybe the duck was trying to help it?? Oh me!

From your candle pic you have a duck egg. Most likely Muscovy

And most likely the other hen was setting up a nest. Where most eggs end up getting eaten by turtles and snakes so no harm done. She has probably laid 20 more!
