What do I do?!?! Is there anything I can do? Can it be cut? Or pull the leg through BUT wouldnt that pull on the tummy?

If it hatched in an incubator put it back in for a while, it needs to stay clean and hopefully it will absorb some more/dry up then hopefully you will be left with a dried up bit which you can then remove, if that doesn't work then I would attempt to unwrap it from the leg but to do that without breaking the yolk sac will be a challenge. I would say your best bet is to leave it alone and hope it dries up, don't cut it how it is at the minute, good luck

Thanks.
I left it in the bator overnight and this morning it was dry but was more tight around the leg leaving the leg imobile. Since it was dryer I used a clean pair of kitten nail clippers and clipped it away from the leg.
The chick is so trying to use its leg but that leg doesnt cooperate much.
I made a chick chair and it is in the bator sitting in the chair. Chirping and talking to its duckling mates :)
I hope he makes it but not holding my breathe!!
Thanks again!

I need to see this chick chair, please take a picture.
:thumbsup

I had to come up with one my last hatch because of a temp spike 6 of my chicks had leg issues.
Hobbling helped 3 but 2 needed the chair (1 died I think it was nuerological because it could not hold its head up even with the chair)
1: I cut a hole out of the end of a sour cream container just big enough for the chick to fit
2: find and old sock and slide it onto the container
3: cut 3 holes, 2 for legs and 1 for poo
4: cut a piece of vet wrap that will fit around the top
5: puting the chick in is tricky, I usually have one of my kids help!
6: put a piece of vet wrap across the chicks back because if not the booger will get out!!

From here you can hobble the legs or imobile the legs with straws.

I know it's been a long time but what ended up happening with the chick? I think we may have a situation like this and wondered how it came out.
