Help on breeds i bought.... Thanks

I bought a few chickens while starting off. They were sold to me as brahma bantam, but now as i'm getting a little better with chicken breeds, i'm not quite sure they are pure. What do you think they are ?


This is my rooster, he's not yet one, and he has feathers down his legs




and these are the two hens i bought with him







So do you think they are brahmas ???

I think that they are very pretty cross bred bantams - perhaps with some Brahma background.

They aren't pure but people are working on different "projects" like blue partridge and gold-laced etc. I really enjoy my brahma's they are so mellow, I can't imagine a flock without them.

They are mixed breeds. Do the first and last chicken have single combs? They appear so in the pictures which would indicate a low percentage of brahma in the parentage of these chickens, if any at all. They are very pretty though! Mixed breed chickens are my favorites.

My, i guess your right they do seem to have single combs, i will have to check closer. I know that not to far from where i got them, another person had some belgian d'uccles and bantam cocchins, may she crossed them with some belgian d'uccles.... ? i'll try to get better pictures ..

I did cross my red chickens, with this rooster and got a little chick... its soooo cute

There wasn't any barred rocks though,... i saw white chanteclers, red sex links,easter eggers, bantam :silkies, ((brahmas))....
