Help! Opening store...now we need a name! (pg. 2)

Well of course you must buy farm fresh eggs from all the BYC members who live near you and sell them at your store.

Help some other deserving folks near you by arranging for them to grow sprouts and fresh herbs for your store. It would be a great little home-based business for some struggling families.

There is a seasoned salt I've been using for 35 years called Spike that is so very delicious, it's still sold mostly in "health food stores" but now my local grocery store has it & I'm so glad. It's great on many dishes but especially scrambled eggs and just heavenly on fresh sliced vine-ripe tomatoes. They have other products too, Vege-Sal and salt-free varieties too. I like the ones with a little salt, you get a lot of flavor with a little salt too. It's made by Gaylord Hauser and their website is http://www.modernfearn.com

Do you remember when Haagen Daas ice cream was only sold in health food stores? When they offered carob instead of chocolate? Before they got so trendy & had shops in every mall?

I grow my own free-range eggs...so it would be an outlet for them. We have sold to local food establishments, and now we could sell retail. My sister raises organic herbs, so that is covered too.

LOVE the advice and suggestions. Keep 'em comin! Thanks to all you guys that have posted so far!

One thing I spend a lot of money on is Almond Meal. Both Vitamin Cottage and Trader Joes carry that....less than $4/lb. At King Soopers a 1 lb bag of Bob's Red Mill is closer to $10.

I also buy Erythritol. It is a sugar alcohol. Great alternative to Splenda or Nutrasweet. Better than molitol because it has a low glycemic index and it wont give you stomach upset. Here are a few links I dug up. Oh, and netrition is a really good company. I love their flat rate shipping.

I go to the health food stores for all natural shower gels and lotions, for extremely sensitive skin. I've tried different brands But honestly the best I have used is Kama Sutra Products I love their Mint tree body wash, and their Honey dust is phenomenal
They just so happen to be edible too.

Ah ha! Frontier is the brand of herbs carried by my local independent health food store. I love their stuff. I by the stevia leaf, orange peel, ginger, etc...

Sell things in bulk, from bins.
Have grind-your-own peanut butter and bulk honey, etc.
Amy's products are good, frozen items, sort of TV dinners for granolas.
Locally made cheeses.

There are some great suggestions that I have received...now I need a name. Something easy but catchy. We will have mostly WV products, 'granola kruncher'/dietary restricted items, sushi/soups, chocolates, baked items, etc. Any ideas?
