I have two Indian Runner ducklings that hatched 3 days apart. They are currently 7 and 4 days old. The older duckling constantly pecks at her siblings beak and mostly feet. Sometimes she'll go for the wing. I can see that the younger duck is annoyed because she always tries to get away. I have them separated in the brooder most of the day with a glass pane so they can see each other, but we let them out to run around with each other at night for awhile. I don't trust the older duckling just yet. Will this behavior eventually subside?

It should get better as long as they're being exposed to eachother regularly. Just keep up what you're doing and they should be fine together soon. I think the older one is trying to assert dominance and once he feels like the little one knows who the boss is, he should be fine.

How did this turn out???! I have 3, 4 day old ducklings and one is bulling the other two. She is real nasty to them! Not sure what to do! Any advice?

separate your brooder into two sections put the bully on one side the other 2 on the other the heat can be in the middle so they share the heat.use something they can still see each other, I did this with 2 older ducklings and a just hatched duckling and it took less than a week before the young one was climbing on top of the older 2 and sleeping with them. During that week I would put them together often to see how they acted if they started bullying then they got separated again. You might also try putting the bully and one of the other 2 together just a test and see how that goes.
What is your temp in your brooder and do they have food and water 24/7?

They turned out just fine. After a few days of separation, but still being visible, they worked it out. Now I just have to get my older drake to stop biting them. We've separated the drake from the rest of the flock for now. We'll see what happens.
