I ordered 7 show quality silkie chicks for my daughter, I paid upwards of 75.00 for these birds. When they arrived all but 2 were dead, and one has messed up feet and toes that I'm trying to deal with. The person that sold them to me offered to have her daughter meet me half way to give us replacement chicks. This was Wed. she said she would contact me with a time and exit number to meet her daughter on Sat. so, here it is Friday night, and I'm yet to here back from her.

I have sent her 2 emails and just tried to call with no luck... what do you think, ansd what should I do? I'm beginning to get mad!

That's a bummer... I guess all you can do is keep bugging her and hope she makes good to you on the quality/quantity that you ordered (especially if they're within traveling distance) ...

Otherwise - I suggest next time get references for quality chicks @ honest prices coming from honest people

Good luck! I hope they make things right.

I don't see how anyone can deceive people by selling show quality chicks, when they have to be much older to determine the quality. You can get bad quality chicks out of 2 Show Quality parents.

Give us her number and we can all call her. I am guessing after 50,000 calls, she might get tired and answer one of the calls.

I had the same thing happen to me, before I became more knowledgeable about Silkies. Some were dead, and several died by the next day. Toes were messed up and some even had green legs. One was slick feathered.

Sorry this is happening to you. PM me the name and lets see if it's the same person.

So sorry for the trouble you are having. But thank you for posting it. Because I do believe I was about to order form the same person judging your description of their basic location. And if it is the same people, they haven't responded to a question I had asked about their birds via email earlier in the week.

That they follow up with you!

How did you pay for them? Since you used the words ordered and delivered I'm assuming you paid in a way other than cash. If you paid by paypal or Credit card file a complaint with them. If this person is selling them as a business file a complaint with the BBB.
