Help!! Our americana laid her first egg today and now she is acting weird!!

Our Americana laid a big green egg today- was a double yolker...now she has acted tired all day and has been by herself and just sleeping a lot. We are going on vacation tomorrow so I am super nervous something is wrong!! What do you think it could be??

Maybe she's just tired. The first egg can be traumatic anyway, and a double yolker??? Wow. Poor girl. But if the egg came out today, she's not egg-bound. Is there any blood on her cloaca?

I have no idea what that is..lol...is that where the egg comes out?? I can look i guess...ya i was thinking it was from the trauma of laying such a big one first time out..

Unless there was a lot of blood on the egg (not just a smudge, but a lot) I wouldn't worry. She probably won't lay tomorrow though.
