Help! Out favorite hen won't eat or drink!

Her name is Rose and she is a sweetie. A Red Star. Very social. Thursday evening she was inside the coop, she had been fine before then. Ever since, she will not eat or drink. Since she did not want to come out or walk around, we brought her in the house last night and she slept in a crate in the house. We tried holding her, offering water, fresh fruit, etc, she has no symptoms you guys. Healthy looking comb, alert, bright eyes, not egg bound, no mites or injuries that we see anywhere. The day before my husband did find a opossum in the chicken house, but I don'tknow if or how that could be related. We do not want to lose her!!

Has she been laying? Cab you feel is she is egg bound?

Thank you for responding. She is not laying, but not unusual this time of year where we are. Definitely not egg bound. At a loss.
