HELP!!!!!... PHOTO UPDATE..MY BRAVE Roo....Doing better now....

So sorry to hear of your brave Roo being hurt...
Such a cute picture of the Roo and Hen, very touching...
I think your doing a wonderful job of care giver...
BTW, I've read a lot of your posts in the forums and your quite knowledgeable/caring...I don't think that Roo could be in any better hands...
Keep your chin up, everything will be okay

I am so in love with him, he is so small!! (compared to my 16-week old gigantors)

He's so little! I just want to snuggle him!

It sounds like you are doing a great job! My only concern is that you might want to switch to diluted iodine instead of the peroxide because peroxide will damage healthy tissue as well as kill germs, etc.

I'm keeping you and your little brave roo in my thoughts! I am so in love with that roo!

Still not really sure how he got in...I have gone over every inch...There is a really really really small hole in one corner that i covered and secured...but NO clue how he could of fit in there that coon was at least 35 pounds....

That is the sweetest picture ever! I hope he pulls through for you. He looks pretty good considering what he went through. I'll be thinking of you both

He could have a dislocated toe but I hope not..They can heal from those though....
When my Ellie got a dislocated toe from an irresponsible person letting their dog run loose in the neighborhood, the vet splinted and bandaged it and it stayed that way for some weeks. It healed very crooked but Ellie gets around.....

I think i might just give him the band aid "boot" just as a preventative so it does not heal in the position the pic shows

If he seems to be in pain at any point you can offer pain relief. One way (if no major bleeding or internal injury) is aspirin in his water. One 81 mg baby aspirin per cup of drinking water......... Sometimes it takes the edge off pain just enough to give them the will to eat and drink and persevere through the first difficult days.....
