Help please—Ivermectin dosage needed ASAP

:thumbsup Kind of expensive though isn't it?
Yup
But easier to get here in Canada, I tried to see if any of the cattle farmers here had any of the ivermectin topical but no one here uses it - it very restricted here in the meat/dairy industry.

I would have to buy a 100ml bottle which is over $120 here !!!!

So the Revolution is more practical and in the long run less expensive, and I can give the rest to my cat 😁

I have Revolution Plus here for Miss Kitty but I couldnt find any safety documentation on the Sarolaner. maybe you know of any info pertaining to poultry and Sarolaner?

Plenty of info on the Selimectin… and similar chemical structure to ivermectin so likely has a similar safety margin for dosing.

At my vets advice I am giving my flock Ivermectin orally, for mites. I have 1% injectable. He advises to give 1cc per 50# (doubled from the dosage of 1cc per 100#).
I admit, dosage calculations aren’t my strong point...so I would love some help to ensure I’ve got this correct!! I calculate the correct oral dose to be .25ml (1/4cc). This would be for a 12.5 lb bird. Mine are smaller (average size) but I have read that the max dosage is .05ml per pound from @casportpony on another thread. Mine average 5 lbs so I think .25ml is a safe bet here. Can anyone double check this for me? Headed out to do it now before our next big storm rolls in!! Thank you in advance!
So all this stuff gets confusing. Hiw many days are you supposed to give? How many times a day? Etc
