Yeah - we really tried to help the teeny tiny one get off to a stronger start, but lost her anyway. The other ones are looking good for now - energetic and noisy, excited to try their tiny beginner wings.Oh no! You definitely gave it your all, though. Hoping all the remaining chicks are doing well.
My daughter has decided that this tiny chick should be named Ophelia because of the whole near-drowning thing. Also, that’s a teaspoon, not a soup spoon. Hard to believe that’s an entire bird. Easy to see how someone so small could fall into the water trough.View attachment 1319476
