Hi all. This topic has probably been posted quite a few times but I seriously dont know what to do with my girl anymore. I have her for abouth 3 months now and 2 weeks ago I noticed she was limping and checked her foot only to notice she had bumble foot. I performed the "extraction surgery" cleaned it daily and bandaged it everyday. A few days later it didn't seem to get better so decided to take her to the vet and not take any chances. (She's my favourite hen) ok so the vet treated it and said the swelling should be down within a week.. Well its been a week now and her foot is still puffy and inflammed and she wont really walk around on it...

What should I do cause I dont want to loose her, but also dont want her in pain.

P.S. She is still eating and drinking normally.

Welcome to BYC.

Can you post some photos?

If she was under vet care and the foot has not gotten better, then you may want to contact them for a follow-up.

Sometimes soaking the foot in an epsom salts solution will help reduce swelling.

The fron part of her foot (please excuses the dirt on the side of her toe)

The backside.

I've been soaking her feet in epsom salt water for a few days now yet the swelling hasnt gone down so much so I'll rather take her for a follow up :)
